- Must have exposure and good relations with domestic Market - wheat, corn, barley, sorghum & millets and connects with key decision makers
- Origination strength - connect with local traders, brokers, farmers
- Marketing strength - have good customer knowledge - flours millers, cattle , poultry, starch processors, malt companies, distilleries -
- Have a commercial mindset Able to generate PNL and manage book
- Should have efficient risk management skills - ability to under risk management tools, apply hedges and be on top of risk management
- Sound understanding of contract management and execution skills
- Knowledge of imported Grains used in the market and their price parity with Indian Grains.
- Ability to analyze Indian Grains balance sheet and highlight sales business opportunities
- Ability to formulate marketing strategy to achieve sales in the region/India.
- Ensure performance of contracts and flag any concerns arising out of adverse market moves
- Train other marketing staff in office from succession planning standpoint
- Understand downstream markets and incorporate the information in trading discussion
- Collaborate with other grain team or sales staff to create and position risk management solutions for producers and members.
- Managing and expanding relationships in the value chain across the country
- Able to work with targets with an attitude to surpass them.
- Daily & Weekly Cash Flow management & Reporting.
