Trader - Fertilizer

Role Description:

- This is a full-time on-site role for a Trader - Fertilizer in Dubai. It's an independent fertilizer trader position (with own book of buying / selling) focused on India sales only. Both Buying & selling to be on back-to-back basis; and on LC based payment terms. Bulk vessel shipments.

- Candidate will be responsible for liaising with buyers in India and with suppliers in international locations, for various fertilizers products such as Sulphur, Ammonia, Sulphuric Acid, DAP, Phosphoric acid, Rock phosphate, Potash, NPK, Water soluble etc.

- Business plan with above guidelines is required.

- The Trader will be responsible for managing fertilizer trading operations, maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers, leading the trading team, analyzing market trends, and identifying potential trading opportunities. The Trader will also be responsible for managing trade risk and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of fertilizer trading and market trends

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to lead a team and manage trading operations effectively.

- Experience in managing trade risk and ensuring compliance with regulations.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis

- Degree in commerce

- Ability to make informed and strategic business decision.
