Job Description:
Position: Sales and Marketing Manager
Responsibilities:
- Distributor, Wholesaler, and Direct Dealer Management:
- Handle existing distributors, wholesalers, and direct dealers while identifying and onboarding new partners in the region.
- Communicate effectively with partners to generate sales leads and foster strong business relationships.
Distribution Network Expansion:
- Strategize and execute plans for expanding the distribution network, addressing existing gaps in coverage to maximize market reach.
Primary and Secondary Sales Management:
- Maintain a balance between primary sales (sales to distributors) and secondary sales (sales from distributors to end customers) to ensure consistent revenue generation.
Schemes and Targets Management:
- Manage primary and secondary sales schemes to incentivize partners and achieve quantity and value targets on a brand-wise basis.
- Pricing, Discounts, and Product Quality:
- Understand pricing structures, discount policies, and product quality/unique selling propositions (USPs) to effectively communicate value propositions to customers and partners.
Payment Terms and Fund Security:
- Ensure understanding of payment terms (credit/cash) and implement measures to secure funds, minimizing financial risks for the company.
Below-the-Line (BTL) Activities:
- Plan and execute below-the-line activities such as in-shop promotions, wall/shutter paintings, flex displays, dealer certificates, point-of-purchase displays, and other promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
Dealer Engagement:
- Organize dealer meets and plant visits to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and align business strategies with partner needs.
Influencer Engagement:
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, contractors, carpenters, and builders to influence their purchasing decisions and expand the customer base.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Demonstrate a proactive "go-to-market" attitude and employ effective strategies to achieve sales targets, driving business growth and market penetration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
