Job Description

Role: Trade Promotions Auditor

Location: Chennai

Reporting: VP Finance

As a Trade Promotions Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of trade promotional spends across multiple countries for our key clients. Your expertise will help drive adherence to global frameworks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safeguarding our clients' interests and enhancing their financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Auditing and Monitoring: Conduct thorough audits of trade promotional spends and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

- Framework Adherence: Drive adherence to global frameworks and SOPs, ensuring consistency and compliance across various regions.

- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data related to trade promotions to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.

- Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting key findings and providing actionable recommendations for enhancing controls and reducing risks.

- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance teams, marketing departments, and senior management, to communicate audit results and drive implementation of recommendations.

- Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices in auditing processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

- Training and Development: Mentor and guide junior auditors, sharing expertise and promoting knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification added advantage.

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in auditing, specifically within the FMCG industry.

- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

- Six Sigma Certification: Certification in Six Sigma frameworks will be considered an added advantage.
