Trade Operations Manager

Role: Manager – Trade Operations

Location: Mumbai

A leading private sector Bank is looking for a person with experience in managing Exchange Operations in a Bank (Exchange Operations: Settlement Bankers to Exchanges)

Key Deliverables

Exchange Operations

- Funds Payin and Payout settlement on behalf of Clients

- Providing Inter / Intra day TOD and monitoring

- Execution of Standing Instruction for meeting the payin obligation

- Confirming additional base capital, shortages and margin on behalf of Clients

Finance against Shares

- Pledging and Un pledging of shares for finance purpose

- Monitoring scrip based exposure are not breached

- Ensuring only approved scrips are provided finance

- Monitoring movement in markets to keep the drawing power within limit

- Ensuring accounts gets regularized in case the drawing power is breached due to market fall

Process related

- Preparation of process documents

- Understanding requirements of users and raising necessary system requirements

- Coordinating with various teams within Bank for developing the required processes and functionalities

Other Banking operations

- Fund transfer and other normal Banking operations

Profile Requirement

- The candidate should have good understanding of Capital Markets : well versed with settlements procedures and life cycle of trades executed in Stock Exchanges

- Understanding of Finance against shares

- Should have reasonable experience in operations of Banking application - Finacle (from Infosys)

- Reasonable understanding of DP operations

Education & Experience:

- CA/MBA with 8 - 12 years experience. Relevant banking experience is a must
