Job Description - Trade Marketing role for the tobacco industry
Client Details
Our client is of the largest FMCG companies globally with premium brands under its umbrella. It has very robust strategies for India that happens to be one of the fastest growing marketing for their portfolio. To manage BTL strategies and activations towards the same, they are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager who would nationally take care of visibility strategies for on premise meeting points for customers.
Description
The incumbent would report into the Customer Engagement Head and would be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with the brand and sales team to develop and execute innovative and far reaching activations
- Develop and distribute relevant POSM for the cluster of brands and work towards increasing brand visibility and enhancing brand imagery
- Create trackers to evaluate and understand the effectiveness of the activations across the country
- Create strategies for trade partners and ensure stock presence across the width and depth of the portfolio
- Handle and develop market promotion and trade budgets
- Classify and evaluate brand initiatives and share them with the relevant stakeholders for analysis and further development
Profile
- The successful applicant should be a post graduate from a premier b-school (2011/2012/2013 batches), having at least 7 years of extensive experience in sales and trade marketing in the FMCG space and an overall understanding of the different segments and channels in India.
- He/she should have an analytic approach towards understanding and solving problems and have a proven experience in driving and leveraging people skills and motivations.
