Trade Lane Manager - China, Thailand, ISC

Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire a Trade Lane Manager - China, Thailand, ISC for the Mumbai and Gurgaon location

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop robust products to enhance trade-lane development for the entire sales team across the ISC region.

- Negotiate and establish competitive pricing for trade-lanes in coordination with overseas counterparts, aligning with local market conditions.

- Motivate sales teams to focus on dedicated pipelines for trade-lanes and assist in securing business through effective product and pricing strategies.

- Analyze trade lane performance regularly using statistical data and recommend areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with overseas offices to determine annual budget Gross Profit (GP) and volumes for the trade lane.

- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with targets.

- Conduct joint visits with the sales team to foster client relationships and gain insights into market dynamics.

- Provide comprehensive knowledge transfer to sales teams across India.

Skills & Competencies:

- Comprehensive understanding of the targeted geography and local market dynamics, including knowledge of competitors.

- Familiarity with overseas perspectives and customs laws/procedures for the designated geography.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and during extended hours.

- Strong strategic thinking and attention to detail in managing clients and staff.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Proficiency in administrative tasks and marketing skills for developing product brochures and newsletters.

- Willingness to travel, possessing a valid passport.

- Essential interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Educational Background/Work Experience:

- Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience (subject to the specific position, may vary).

- Graduation is required, with a preference for a postgraduate degree in a related field.

Language Skills:

-Fluent in English, with additional language proficiency depending on the location.
