Trade Finance Operations Role - BFS

Responsibilities :

- Perform and Review checks on trade finance transactions in accordance with ICC guidelines & client specific SOPs.

- Second level checking and authorization of Trade finance transactions, which includes bank documentary products, related to Import /Export/Document Checking & International Guarantees.

- Ensure smooth functioning of the process and compliance to procedures and policy guidelines by effective adherence to controls

- Support with all documentary credit and collection business processes in accordance with the rules.

- Handle customer queries effectively and advise customers on transaction related matters with due consideration

- Create Quality Control reports, develop primary and test of controls

- Communication with client basis the process requirement

Required Background :

- Minimum 15 years' experience in Trade Finance Document Checking

- Good knowledge of overall trade product cycle - LC Issuance, Advising, Collections and Open Account TR and SWIFT

- Well versed with the ICC rules (UCP 600, ISBP, URC, URR, ISP 98, Incoterms and URDG) and Regulatory/Compliance guidelines

- Qualification : MBA (Finance/International Trade), CDCS mandatory
