Role-Trade finance operations Lead

Location - Bangalore

- Handling a team size 20-25 employees.

- Hands on operational experience on issuance of Letter of credit/ advising/Bills/discounting/negotiation/forex remittance

- Providing guidance on trade transactions to operation teams and branches from FEMA perspective, RBI guidelines and UCPDC 600.

- Authorized Dealer approvals for External commercial Borrowings, Overseas investment in joint venture/Wholly owned subsidiary abroad, Remittance towards branch office abroad, extension and write off of export bills.

- The list of activities performed by GTSU Compliance team is enclosed herewith in Annexure I

- Imparting training on UCP 600, Incoterms 2010,Capital Account transactions

- Handling queries and clarifications related to RBI Inspection and internal audits

- Experience of reviewing and monitoring internal procedures and practices to provide compliance with group and regulatory requirements

Lead a team engaged in Enhanced Document Checking for credit compliance for high risk items of Trade Finance services as per UCPDC, URDG, URC, ISBP guidelines

- Bills against LC

- Bills discounting / Negotiation of Export Bills

- LC confirmation

- LC issuance

- Suggest the Documentation Scenarios for Structuring of LCs by proactively envisaging the risk mitigants for the Bank while structuring the transaction for the Key Clients

- Ensure regulatory compliance with extant guidelines as per FEMA, NI Act, PMLA relevant ICC guidelines.

- Carries the hands on experience of litigant documentations issues in Trade Finance

- Matured knowledge of Industry practices

- Manage and resolve client/business partner escalations on real time basis

- Monitor and manage key control processes including transaction checklists through regular interventions

- Review and monitoring of Risk Control/Error matrices to increase transaction accuracy

- Create and groom learning experience of enhanced document checking for the Team Members
