Co-Founder - UX/UI Designer for Startup

We are a Noida/Malaysia based company, with main business in Large Scale Projects Consultancy and previously in SAP, Private Cloud and Data-Center Deployment and SME SaaS development.

Now we are looking to create a new venture (a startup), with team members from IIT, NIT, BITS and Bristol. We are a young team of designers, developers, and strategists. This startup is looking to develop a platform to organize the Paying Guest and Student Accommodation Sector in India. We are also in talks with International businesses working in this domain, to provide us the required branding as well.

Majority of the development and sales team (all working as share-holders) is finalized. But we are still looking for someone to help us with the UX/UI Design portion of development. There is no remuneration initially, except in terms of Shares in the startup.

Head of our company is already connected to a lot of VCs including Co-Founder of Indian Angel Network. But before approaching them, we are looking to start the development of the required platform. Hence seeking another co-founder, with following capabilities:

- 4 to 10 Years of experience with UX/UI design and development in Web/Mobile design technologies.

- Experience with of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery including cross browser compatible coding and modular coding (HTML templates, JavaScript dependency management).

- Ability to create Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.

- Well versed in code optimization, debugging, and software design principles.

- Experience in formal UX methods like interviews, personas, usability tests, reviews and surveys

- Demonstrated ability to learn complex technology

- Extensive knowledge of cognitive and human-factors principles

This is not a full-time job but still needs dedicated attention and determination for completion.

Designers from Delhi-NCR will be preferred, since F2F meetings and joint work sessions will be easier. But we are not averse to designers from anywhere around the world as well.
