Torch Investment Management - Lead Data Analyst

Job brief:

- We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. Successful candidates will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into investment management decisions.

- They will help a team of investment managers with >100 years of combined experience and will help build our data analysis team.

- They will also work on developing ML/AI models and improving existing models. They will be responsible for creating and running financial products.

Responsibilities:

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in financial datasets

- Data Prep: Identify and utilize existing as well as new data sources; Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data; Carry out bespoke data analysis

- AI/ML: Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms

- Lead AI-enabled efficiency projects within our investment process

- Run financial products involving AI

Requirements:

- Few years' experience in data analytics/AI

- Good understanding of machine-learning and operations research

- Proficient in Python

- Strong analytical skills; attention to detail

- B.Tech. (CS/EE) or bachelor's in mathematics & computing from a reputed university
