Torch Investment Management - Investment Analyst

Job brief:

Weare looking for a passionate Investment Research Analyst. Role will entail fundamental research on global companies, designing client portfolios and investment products. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the portfolio management team and will be on track to becoming a Client Portfolio Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Fundamental Analysis: Detailed company research with the view of taking a position in global stocks and bonds.

- Coverage: Assist senior analyst in tracking a set of companies and asset classes

- Write research reports and articles for the company website

- Monitoring the existing position in the portfolio (tracking news flow, corporate actions, etc)

Requirements:

- 2+ years' experience in public or private equity environment. Strong interest in equity markets.

- PG Level qualification - MBA, CA or CFA. Or other relevant management/ business course

- Candidate must have cleared level 2 of CFA

- Strong knowledge of and experience with different asset classes and financial products

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
