This is a cross-functional product growth role that requires you to work closely with the Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to bring new products to life and scale them.
What you will do
- Understand the market and needs of users using deeply qualitative/quantitative techniques and business problems/insights to create a product roadmap that has at least a 3-month forward-looking view of key business problems to be solved
- Adopt a structured approach to identify what problems need to be solved and break them down into smaller chunks and solve them in right order of priority
- Facilitate a process to come up with the best technology-led ideas to solve prioritized problems
- Translate solutions to the user and/or business problems into PRDs and work closely with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to bring solutions to life
- Experiment with multiple solution ideas and test them using MVPs, prototypes, etc.
- Create a go-to-market plan to maximize product adoption and success
- Define product metrics for your area, and track them continuously
- Identify usage patterns and come up with action plans to move metrics in the right direction
Job Requirements:
- At least 4+ yrs in product management in a tech-led company (consumer internet space is preferred)
- User-focused individual who keeps the customer at the heart of everything we do, while having strong commercial awareness
- Exceptional problem-solving skills based on first principles thinking
- A good understanding of systems experiences with designing user interfaces via wireframe mockups.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interface at multiple levels of an organization and across functional groups to clearly articulate priorities and deliverables.
- Experience in working for startups or high-growth product organizations is preferred
