High degree of Proficiency in SAS,EXCEL,Macros

- Management Reporting process which involves preparation/creation of various management reports for Home Loans and Insurance segment including KPI reports, Budgets, Forecasts, Expense reports, Headcount reporting, Variance analysis, Product profitability packages, Segment reporting ,Cost analysis etc.

Detailed Role description

- Prepare monthly financial results packages, ensuring proper analysis and interpretation of performance are provided to senior management

- Prepare expense budget variance reports explaining factors driving variances compared with prior periods and plan.

- Consistently looking for ways to apply process knowledge along with technology to enhance business capabilities within the organization.

- Ensuring adherence to procedures and company policies. Is comfortable resolving issues working directly and swiftly with support partners.

- Work with onshore team to understand mortgage products, research details and build/validate financial models.

- Understands how to mentor fellow team members of highly talented and motivated analysts working intensely with onshore counterparts for swift resolution.

- Involvement in annual / quarterly budgeting / forecasting exercise

- Assist in various ad-hoc data analysis needs through reporting dashboards, analysis of trends & variances

- Ensure that all service level agreements (SLAs) with clients are met

- Develop a high level of product and business knowledge for the industry

- Ensure quality of work meets the department standards by establishing quality control checks into the processes

- Extensive client interaction

- High level of energy and results orientation and capability of handling projects independently

- Ability to multi-task on several time-sensitive deliverables

- Ability to effectively perform in a dynamic and complex financial services organization

- Dynamic & a person with positive attitude and the bent of mind to learn and adept to the culture of the organization

- Strong skills on MS Excel, MS Access, SAS

- Good to know VBA & SQL

- Good knowledge of US Mortgage Industry/Consumer Banking business with understanding of analytics relevant at each stage

- Excellent interpersonal relationships, business acumen, verbal and written communication skills.

Shift Type (Rotational Shifts/Fixed): Fixed

Process Timings: 12 pm to 12 am (flexible between these timings basis business requirement, may need to stretch on occasions.

Weekends Off (Y/N): Y

Reporting Structure: Reporting to Manager/Sr.Manager
