POSITION OBJECTIVE:
- The talent management team member will be responsible for driving the recruiting and the Training process, buddy process, present qualified candidates to the hiring managers and ensure a positive experience for the candidates as they move through this process.
- Will also drive business commitments such as service level agreements (SLAs), compliance, diversity and quality.
- The position mandates the ownership of new hires up to 6 months (confirmation period).
- You will also be involved in creating training content for soft skills/ behavioural training and also imparting the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- The incumbent is required to identify recruitment and training needs across different departments in Chandigarh.
- He/She should ensure all the job descriptions are updated with the new skills/ changed jobs and consult the HR director for any changes.
- He /She should develop and execute the recruiting plans in alignment with the HR Director and the local hiring managers, including but not limited to campus hiring, walk-ins, seeking referrals, etc.
- The incumbent should gain and retain a strong industry network, including association memberships, trade groups, candidate job fairs, and potential employees.
- The incumbent is required to tie up with various topnotch colleges for campus recruitment well in advance and conduct hiring drives accordingly.
- She/he should maintain the hiring turnaround time as follows : Entry level /Junior/Middle management position- 30 days( mandate to offer acceptance ), senior management - 60 days
- Creates compliant and impactful postings.
- Closes identified vacancies within the specified time frame.
- Prepares and publishes the hiring track sheet, replacement costs, renege analysis for the Director HR and HR team on a weekly basis.
- The incumbent is required to validate resumes with relevant profiles, source mix and conduct the initial round of interviews.
- She/he is required to conduct the background and reference verification checks on each new hire and raises a flag in case of negative reference check.
- He/she is tasked with managing the buddy program and other recruiting initiatives successfully by conducting regular checks.
- The incumbent is required to report the - motivational drivers- to the hiring managers to assist in new hire management on the on boarding day.
- He/she is required to conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of the recruitment plans and its implementation.
- The incumbent is required to execute manager satisfaction survey within 90 days of hiring.
- He/she is expected to build a strong rapport with prospective candidates and provide assistance pertaining to HR queries and formalities.
- The incumbent is expected to conduct and organise the - New Hire Induction- program.
- He/She is required to maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
As a trainer you are required to:
- Conduct the company wide Training needs analysis, assist in creating the competency and skills based matrix.
- Content creation for soft skills training and impart the training for 200+ employee base across departments.
Salary Range: 5-11 LPA
