Position overview:
- The Metadata Operations Manager is responsible for managing a diverse team which supports TiVO's International bound and unbound video data products
Responsibilities include -
- Managing large and complex programs including work assignment, capacity planning, reporting progress, calling out risks and proposing different approaches to run operations more effectively
- Working closely with the counterparts and customers in the North America, LTAM, and APAC teams to improve TiVO products
- Managing the performance and development of the supervisors and other team members, including writing and delivering appraisals, setting objectives using balanced score card, providing feedback to employees on progress and development coaching.
- Manage hiring and onboarding as required
- Regular analysis and reporting of operations performance
- Drive quality and performance metrics and report to the Senior leadership team on the teams progress
- Assist in creating cost estimates, budgets and forecasts
Skills and experience required -
People management experience - Should have led a team of 80+ people and proven experience of managing teams of cultural diversity. Should have been a manager of managers for atleast 5 years.
Communication Skills - Superlative communication skills should have experience of presenting and reporting to senior level management. Ability to creating steering committee decks for projects
