Job Details :To be responsible for provision of HR services in the factory by overseeing the implementation of the HR process as per the plan and maintain a harmonious workplace through effective relations with the employee in the plant while adhering to statutory guidelines
Job Requirements :Education :- MSW preferably MBA
Relevant Experience : 5 - 6 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing plant

Process Contribution :Business Partnering : AOP & Manpower Planning1. Liaison with the individual unit heads in the determination of the manpower number with level wise breakup - GET, Diploma holders, laterals
2. Review the manpower plan consolidated to ensure that it is aligned to the production and capacity expansion plan
3. Calibrate on the manpower numbers with the individual department heads and chief manufacturing head finalise on the manpower count at the plant level
4. Send the manpower number determined at the factory level to the corporate HRBP team for finalisation on the numbers
5. Ensure that the finalised manpower numbers are entered into the system and communicated to the individual unit heads
6. Preparation of HR plan aligned to the business requirements and present it to the Factory head
7. Rejig the plan based on the approval from the senior stakeholders and cascade it to the team
Business Partnering : Recruitment & Selection1. Liaison with the corporate campus relations team for identification of campuses and ensure that the recruitment dates are scheduled
2. Undertake approvals from the appropriate stakeholders as per the guidelines for the ad hoc requirements and ensure that the same is entered in the system
3. Identify the campuses for sourcing diploma candidates and the sourcing strategy and channel for the lateral candidates as per the requirements
4. Identify the panel for the selection process and ensure that the candidates are selected as per the guidelines
5. Ensure that the offer letter is released to the selected candidates post salary negotiations in liaison with the HR Operations team
6. Undertake the induction of the new joiners as per the defined the procedures
Business Partnering : L&D, Career and Succession Planning1. Liaison with the unit heads and the leadership team for the calibration meeting for the talent to ELP programme
2. Undertake discussions with the unit heads for identification of critical positions and develop potential successor list based on talent review discussion
3. Work with the unit heads and the managers to ensure that the training needs identified through refined IDPs are aligned to the business needs
4. Ensure that training needs are met by ensuring delivery in liaison with the L&D team
5. Lead the discussion with the managers and the function heads to encourage role change for the employees who have been stagnant in a role for more than 5 years
6. Ensure the completion of any talent activities due by the employees as per the guidelines
7. Coordinate with the unit heads in filling the potential rating form and participate in the appropriate level of calibration meeting to align within the guidelines
Business Partnering : Performance Management1. Ensure that goal setting process and review is completed within the timelines as per the prescribed guidelines
2. Conduct the goal labs with the business to ensure the cascading of the business score card ensuring horizontal and vertical alignment
3. Facilitate appropriate level of calibration meeting with the stakeholders to ensure alignment to prescribed guidelines
4. Coach the managers on goal setting, feedback, review, rating, etc. to ensure the conduct of high impact performance management
5. Ensure that the PIP process is initiated for the appropriate employees and ensure that the process is executed as per the prescribed guidelines
6. Liaise with the business to determine the appropriate course of action for the employees under PIP basis their performance
Business Partnering : Employee Relations1. Manage connect with the employees and manage any escalations / grievances raised by the employees appropriately as per the guidelines
2. Undertake investigations for allegations raised such as harassment, fraud, etc. as per the principles of natural justice and prepare report on the findings and conclusions
3. Undertake disciplinary actions in consultation with senior stakeholders and implement the same as per the prescribed guidelines
4. Review the employee engagement score and assist the function heads in action planning basis the employee engagement scores
5. Provide inputs in the assessment of the reward nominations based on the business impact for the decision on the award
6. Undertake employee exit conversations if required to retain employee / understand the cause of exit and recommend appropriate actions in case of any relevant findings
7. Undertake unit specific employee engagement initiatives in liaison with the team and oversee the programme management of the same
8. Ensure the R&R policy is adhered to as per the guidelines and the employees are rewarded for defined parameters
9. Ensure that all the welfare activities are adhered to as per the plan and manage any escalations as required
Business Partnering : Contract labour management & Statutory Compliance1. Ensure that the time officer is managed as per the guidelines and the attendance, absenteeism of the contract labour staff is monitored
2. Ensure that the daily requirements of the contract staff is maintained in liaison with the contract agencies
3. Review the invoices of the agency and ensure its reconciliation with the attendance records and send to finance team for invoice processing
4. Review the agency documents to ensure that the wages and the statutory entitlements for the contract staff are paid as per the guidelines
5. Ensure that all the statutory provisions with regard to factories act, contract management act are adhered to and all the licenses are renewed, and documents filed as per guidelines
Business Partnering : Canteen & CSR1. Oversee the management of the canteen & guest house to ensure that its as per the defined guidelines to ensure superior employee satisfaction
2. Identify opportunities for community reach activities and present the plan and budget to the CSR team for approvals
3. Manage the implementation of the approved CSR activities in liaison with the vendor to its completion
4. Ensure that a harmonious relationship with the community is maintained through community reach / CSR activities and resolution of conflicts / issues amicably
People Management :1. Cascade the function goals to the team, review performance of the team and provide feedback on a periodic basis to the team members
2. Provide subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles
3. Undertake action planning based on the employee engagement score and undertake appropriate actions to enhance engagement score
