The Role :
The role holder is the HR point of contact for employees in a Watches Division at Hosur and is responsible for deployment of HR policies and practices.
Key Responsibility Areas :
- Responsible for recruitment of talent within defined timelines
- Ensure shop floor discipline and manage grievances within defined process timelines
- Drive people development and capability building
- Oversee activities of time office
- Support roll-out of company-wide HR initiatives for employees upto junior management levels
- Responsible for personnel administration (employee lifecycle management including exit interviews and final settlements) and HR service delivery
- Drive employee welfare and engagement activities
- Collating and reporting key people metrics for the business unit
- Ensure compliance to statutory norms
Key Competencies :
- Ability to coordinate people and resources
- High levels of energy and drive with result orientation
- Ability to establish trust, capacity to effectively initiate relationships and build rapport with workforce
- Skill in written and oral communication, including persuasive negotiation skills
Education and Experience :
- Masters degree in business, MSW or equivalent degree
- Up to 3 years experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing
- Knowledge of Tamil and/or Kannada is an added value
