1. Scope of the role
Creating and Managing Product Portfolio & Sales for Titan clocks (setting up a new category )
2. Job Profile
- Product management - Conceptualizing and Launching products .Managing product lifecycles end to end - new product launches, product range management, liquidation, Pricing, Packaging, effective sales from channels etc.
- Stocks Management: Display of product as per channel, tracking retail sales and stocks
- Tracking consumer needs, changing consumer preferences, trends and accordingly launching new products
- Product availability - supply at national level against plan & sales forecast - collaboratively with SCM team.
Distribution strategy for products :
- Liasoning with internal (design, sourcing, NPD ) & external agencies (vendor, CFAs, Supply chain) to deliver unique / relevant products to the market
3. Key Deliverables
- Delivering product collections as per customer need / trend and maintaining effective sell through
- Ensuring product gross margins for respective price points
- Retail sales figures as per target
- Aligning product, VM etc
- Ensuring appropriate product mix availability to markets
- Effective Liaison with Design, NPD, Purchase and Sales teams, Ecomm partners etc
4. The right person - Graduate in any discipline with MBA marketing
- 4-5 years- experience in relevant stream
- Good grasp on Trends in lifestyle categories, consumer understanding and ability to convert consumer insights into business initiatives
- Preferably managed a category of similar nature
- Self-starter, capable of managing new business areas
- Good ambiguity management
- Ability for basic financial analysis
- Entrepreneurial skills - ownership / passion for the job, drive for results, innovative approach, etc.
- Some basic understanding of sales operations - hence some prior sales experience
- Drive and patience to handle complex projects
