1. Scope of the role
Merchandise management of some brands for LARGE FORMAT STORE channel. Automation in LFS channel.
2. Job Profile -
- Drive primary billing and ensure optimum merchandise mix
- Conducting weekly / monthly analysis to correct stock mix
- Interface with sales team, chain teams and brand teams to implement range plan optimisations
- Implement new product introductions, new collection introductions to ensure freshness of merchandise
- Interface with sales team, chain teams, VM and commercial teams for new store expansion
- Monitor, analyze and publish performance metrics
- Build good relationship with chain buyers for smooth conduct of business
- Understand market requirement by competition analysis, regional/citywise variations, buyer / sales team interaction as well as market visits.
- Undertaking returns of slow moving stock to minimize VAT and refurbishment losses
- Undertake periodic range plan updations, scheme / promotion / EOSS merchandise planning activities
- Develop a deep understanding of brands, collections, categories to effect range plan changes / feedback to brand teams
- Driving automation in LFS channel
3. Key Deliverables
- Achieve targeted stock mix
- Achieve targeted primary sale nos
- Stock cover as per brand - store category targets
- Ensure timely and consistent returns of slow moving, defective stock
- Enable smooth and flawless opening of new stores
- Enable increased growth and marketshare for individual brands due to optimum stock mix and planning.
- Time and effort reduction achieved due to automation.
4. The right person - Graduate/PG with 5 - 6 years experience
- Should possess excellent analytical and communication skills
- Should possess high level of energy, pay attention to detail and willing to work long hours
- Should have IT skills for driving automation in LFS.
