Job Profile :
- Market coverage in terms of meeting clients and Ad Agencies and ensuring that Demand-Plus in top of their mind's as a premier Content Mktg/ AFP media option.
- Aggressively chase sales target and keep up with the cutting edge growth that the division has achieved in the last few years.
- Proactively look at creating opportunities for revenue generation by analyzing competition, evaluating opportunities, lateral thinking, etc.
- The person needs to have fantastic Presentation skills, to be made to Top Management (CXOs, Business Heads, etc) and has to have a knack for making deals/ proposals & costings on excel sheets.
- Interpret brief from clients and their Media Marketing divisions and to understand the brand positioning, key Marketing Challenge, Brand Objective, etc.
- Drive synergies inside Times Group to make Sales pitches by collaborating and networking with Print (E.T), TV (Times Now, ET Now), IBCE, Radio (Radio Mirchi), etc.
- Create complete marketing solution proposal for the brand including rollout plan, budgets, logistics etc.
- Identify resources available (duration of activity, budgets available, other supports available etc)
- Take complete onus of the thorough execution of the project and ensure that the client re-news the deal Y-o-Y with Demand-Plus.
Role:
This role needs a balance of very strong selling skills and understanding of client's area of business/ brief. The typical client at ET.com is from sectors like Telecom, Auto, Corporate, B-2-B, Travel/Tourism, BFSI, etc. Understanding of the business in the above sectors will be an additional advantage. An indefatigable person with high self-esteem and perspicacious nature is that kind of person who will thrive in this role.
It will require working closely with :
- The Client team (typically senior level Marketing and Media teams)
- Commercial Editorial team, who will own the execution of the proposed solution
- Marketing and Product teams of all businesses to propose solutions that are within the brand and Editorial guidelines of each product
- Media Marketing to maintain a steady pipeline of advertisers / brands, requiring a multi-media solution
- It will also require interactions with the Events and Supply Chain teams to understand the logistical and technical constraints of proposed solutions.
