As a Copy Editor/Senior Copy Editor, the employee is expected to be aware of developing news across genres, be it economy, markets or politics. Good command of the English language is a pre-requisite. In this age of digital revolution, knowledge of various social media platforms is also required.

A sense of urgency and the desire to quickly put out a breaking story is essential. As a part of the task rotation, you will get to work on various domains of the website like, content creation, content editing, live coverage of events (budget, elections) and slideshows.

You would be required to work 6 days in a week with one weekly off. Average day shift duration is 7 hours and 10 minutes.

Operations are shift based, which requires flexibility in doing all shifts. Doing night shift is compulsory. On an average, you will be given the night shift after a gap of 21 days. You are entitled to 2 days off after doing the night shift (5 nights in a go).

Salary Range: 5-15 LPA
