Business Development Lead (web and Mobile Apps)
The role of this position is to :
- Partner with news and entertainment publishers for our new Mobile App platform, create business cases for each deal and strike partnerships.
- Strike partnerships with online publishers both on web and mobile and create an affiliate network for referral traffic.
- Alliances with ad networks/ OEM's /independent app stores for driving mobile app downloads .
Job description :
- The person would be responsible for expanding the horizon/ scope of alliances with news publishers and B2B online media space.
- Pitch, negotiate the terms and close the deal by completing all the formalities required.
- Do Robust affiliate marketing and driving growth in MAU and PV- s- both on mobile and web platforms.
- Work with partners on co-marketing activities to drive customer acquisition, reading activation and engagement.
- Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with appropriate leaders and across all functional areas of Times Internet to execute on the relationships.
- Should be an excellent hunter and should possess a go getter attitude.
- Partner management and ensuring ROI through campaign management .Work closely with the product and ad sales team to ensure healthy ROI.
- Coordinating with internal teams to leverage established relationships and present a unified vision to our partners.
Desired Skills and Experience :
- 5 to 7 years of work experience in content acquisition, deal negotiation and legal closure
- Good analytics skills .
- Excellent working relationships with online media publishers
- Hardworking and performance driven
- Good verbal and written communication abilities
