Position Summary & Scope:

The Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as the on-ground representative for HR, focusing on enhancing employee experience within their assigned region/branches. This role is responsible for executing all HR processes & interventions, supporting business objectives, in collaboration with functional HRBPs and the Centers of Excellence (CoEs). The HRBP will work closely with the Branch Leadership, People Managers & Employees to deliver seamless HR operations & relevant support, with a primary focus on onboarding, employee life cycle management, employee engagement, performance management, and grievance handling.

Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas):

Onboarding and Employee Integration:

- Ensure effective onboarding of new hires by coordinating induction programs, completing necessary documentation, and providing a seamless onboarding experience aligned with BCCL's culture & CLASIC values.

- Facilitate integration into the team by organizing informal catch up sessions and connecting new hires with key stakeholders within the branch to build relationships and accelerate productivity.

Employee Engagement and Well-Being:

- Drive employee engagement initiatives within the region, implementing both company-wide and local engagement programs to boost engagement, morale and employee well-being.

- Implement health & well-being programs in coordination with CoE, ensuring that all employees are informed and actively participating.

Benefits Awareness and Utilization:

- Create awareness & encourage adoption of Employee Benefit programs, ensuring employees understand and utilize available benefits and enablers effectively.

- Manage the benefit program rollouts end-to-end by collaborating with the CoE, conducting information sessions, and strategizing effective on-ground communication to maximize utilization of the new benefits.

Performance Management:

- Support the timely completion of all appraisal steps, including goal setting, self-appraisal, and manager feedback, while ensuring alignment with company timelines.

- Provide guidance to managers and employees on effectively using performance management tools, ensuring alignment between individual goals and broader business objectives.

Learning and Development:

- Facilitate the learning agenda within the region by coordinating and delivering training programs, addressing both functional and local training needs in collaboration with the CoE.

- Promote participation in learning programs by creating awareness of training opportunities and ensuring employees understand how development initiatives align with their career goals.

Contractual Workforce Management:

- Oversee the renewal & closure of contracts for Gig professionals and Full Time Consultants in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.

Technology Adoption:

- Promote the use of HR systems and tools (e.g., employee portals, attendance systems), providing training and support to employees to ensure they utilize available technology efficiently for tasks like attendance and leave management.

Grievance Resolution and Employee Relations:

- Act as a first point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring swift & effective resolution while maintaining confidentiality and fairness.

- Build strong relationships with employees and managers, fostering an open-door policy that encourages transparent communication and early identification of potential issues.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

- Ensure that all HR processes in the region comply with local and central government laws by conducting regular reviews and audits.

- Partner with legal and compliance teams to stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments within the branch.

Relevant Experience - 8+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2-3 years in a business partnering role or regional HRBP capacity, preferably in a multi-location or large-scale organization.

Educational Qualifications Required - MBA with specialization in HR
