Job Description

- Maintain Cost Accounting Records Rules and Cost Audit report rules.

- Develop and maintain accurate cost standards.

- Inventory Valuation and Control.

- Business Analysis and Variance (Material, Labour, Overheads etc) Analysis.

- Calculation and compilation of Annual Operating plan (AOP).

- Pre and post profitability Analysis on product wise and Segment wise.

- Review Product Costing and identify the critical areas which could facilitate any improvements in the product cost.

- Fixation of Transfer Pricing for Inter divisional transfer of goods.

- Divisional profit analysis and reporting to management.

- Deal with statutory auditor, Internal Auditor, Cost auditor and management auditors.

- Cost Control Initiatives which includes Control of Marketing Expense, Coordinating with various teams for Reduction in Material Cost, Reduction in Standard Loss and increasing the yield.

- Costing and Pricing Decisions of New Products.

- Work out the Costing / Models for Make or Buy Decision's.

- Long term Planning and Profitability projection of the Domestic and international Business.

- Coordinating with Marketing and supply chain for proper forecasting, Production Planning and inventory control
