Job Description :


Role Overview :


- Managing team of 5 to 6 people in payroll domain. Performing and supervising Monthly Payroll processing including month end and during the month activities for multiple countries as per the payroll calendar.


- Coordination and collaboration with multiple stakeholders with an aim to manage the performance expectation and tactical strategic discussions. Ensuring accuracy of the reports and payouts.


- Supporting audits and compliances. Documentation of procedures and identifying the areas of improvements in the process steps or process approach.


Responsibilities:


- Monthly Payroll processing and supervising the activities both month end and specific task based supporting the multi region as per Payroll Calendar.


- Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Coordination and Collaboration with HR & Outsourced service provider and validation of the data received for payroll processing as well as the final reports.


- Identifying and implementing systematic approaches of report/data validation and aligning them across the team.


- Working closely with the Payroll team members based in multiple countries. Ensuring necessary statutory compliances related to payroll


- Proactive communication (Internal/External) in case of any issues/concerns and escalate or highlight issues proactively


- Ability to resolve employee queries related to payroll. Ensure to adopt the best practices of RCA and others to enhance the performance of team.


- Preparation and verification of monthly payroll journal entries. Teaming up with cross functional teams to make the entire process efficient. Is able to learn the related activities faster.


- Prepare assigned payroll schedules/reconciliations for periodical reviews and audit


- Maintains confidentiality of payroll information


- Work in accordance with standard procedures and internal controls


Qualifications/Requirements:


- Masters or Bachelors degree in commerce/ accounting is required


- CIPP certification is strongly preferred


- 7 to 10 years experience in payroll processing including international payroll processing supporting APAC and other regions. Experience of workday and Active 8 would be beneficial.


- Ability to influence and motivate team to adopt the right approach of work matters.


- Possesses good team management skills and has an demonstrable track record of teams achievements.


- High on integrity and commitments
