About Thryve.Earth :
- We are building a tech-enabled platform (building software, and setting up operations) to seed and develop an order of magnitude more - nature based carbon projects, in order to deliver significant GHG positive outcomes, and co-benefits in the long run. We are an eclectic mix of carbon specialists and scientists, product leaders and engineers, and business professionals; more importantly - we are nature lovers, and students, i.e. we learn every day to play our part in our broader collective journey. We are venture backed - funded by leading venture capital firms and marquee angels, and are building the foundational team right now. - Understand the ins and outs of AFOLU methodologies set up by various standards (Verra, Gold Standard, Plan Vivo, SRN - Indonesia among others) in the carbon market
- Distill requirements, and develop workflows for delineating eligibility criteria
- Support methodology selection for carbon estimation and assessing 'additionality'
- Be the 'ask me anything' person for rest of the origination and technical teams when it comes to methodologies and standards
Lead carbon project technical development :
- Collaborate with the project implementers, consultants and service providers to deliver required technical analysis (pre-feasibility and feasibility studies) for projects launched in multiple countries across SEA
- Build templates for calculating GHG emission reductions and removal potential of conservation & restoration initiatives
- Codify back-end data structures required to streamline the technical analysis e.g. methodology applicability, carbon yield calculations etc
- Co-design project activities along with project implementers following the applicable carbon standards and methodologies
- Oversee the technical aspects of monitoring, reporting and verification activities
