PRODUCT MANAGER:

Functional Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a multi-vendor management strategy.
- Is analytics driven who can formulate product strategy in line with business.
- Coordinate vendor management strategy with business strategy.
- Do online and offline research to find the best vendors of a particular domain.
- Train the team on vendor management, negotiation and business development.
- Formulate strategy for driving a business unit.
- Monitor and analyse trends in travel vendor management in order to make recommendations for the future and identify areas for engagement.
- Ensure that travel vendor management strategy continues to support the organization’s business strategy.
- Develop and communicate vendor policies, standards and procedures.
- Fulfill critical role in coordinating multi-sourcing vendor management strategy with multiple strategic vendor relationships.
- Maintain a catalogue of preferred vendors for various travel products and services.
- Assist with contract negotiations. Explaining them in detail how they get benefited by becoming Thrillophilia supplier.
- Develop metrics and standards for vendor performance in all vendor categories.
- Incorporate travel vendor performance into sourcing strategy and decision making; intervene when performance falls below an acceptable threshold.
- Ensure that the best products are up on website and available for the users.
- Identify and communicate strategies across business teams for motivating vendors to provide above average service.
- Build organizational talent by creating a learning environment that ensures employees realize their highest potential.
- Market Research on various products available in the travel market.
- Competitor Analysis
- Innovate and Ideate the Product for B2C and B2B
Relationship Management:
Work in partnership with business and sales team on strategic initiatives related to multi-sourcing strategy and vendor management to continuously improve policies, standards and procedures by anticipating issues, providing advice and sharing knowledge and best practices.
Develop strategic relationships with vendors, to provide more benefits to Thrillophilia customers.
