Job description:
Mobile eCommerce is one of the fastest growing segments and is well positioned to revolutionize the mobile ticketing space. We're looking for an experienced Mobile App Marketing Manager to acquire users, promote usage of Thrillophilia app and encourage in-app sales. The ideal hacker will have a demonstrated ability to create and launch effective mobile marketing campaigns, segmenting audience and optimizing for best performance, while thriving in a fast paced environment and supporting aggressive timelines.
You will report to the co-founder, and drive mobile campaigns across iOS and Android devices. You must have an experience in direct-response customer acquisition and performance marketing, superior analytical skills, and possess a blend of technical & business savvy.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and measure the effectiveness of mobile app advertising initiatives to drive awareness and adoption for the Thrillophilia app, and subsequent engagement and in-app sales.
- Establish processes to streamline execution of mobile/online marketing efforts - planning, executing, reporting, monitoring, and optimization. Help to create a playbook of best practices to be used globally to manage mobile marketing, with a strong ROI-focused approach.
- Demonstrate ability to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing advertising campaign execution, creating and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data and solving problems)
- Collaborate closely with technical, digital, sales and business teams as well as external vendors to manage simultaneous time sensitive tech implementations and projects across internal and external channels.
- Dive into the data to detect patterns and uncover insights to further inform our mobile marketing efforts. Report on campaigns and overall mobile performance.
- Work with regional leads/liaisons to define needs and execute campaigns specific to region.
- Support multiple launches and enhancements globally, regularly analyzing and optimizing campaigns.
- Perform regular status updates to communicate results across the marketing team, to senior management, and regional liaisons.
- Lead test-and-learn efforts - gather and analyze data in a rigorous statistical manner, and uncover insights to optimize marketing efforts and inform future testing.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in mobile marketing, online marketing, and/or product marketing with a focus on ROI based direct-response/performance marketing.
- Proven track record of delivering growth from multiple sources including online advertising and/or mobile advertising, and executing key analyses with minimal supervision
- Expertise in mobile ad tech - platforms, tracking, success metrics, and optimization techniques.
- Comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions.
- High level of aptitude with Excel required.
- Strong time management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Tenacity and sense of urgency; the ability to make things happen quickly with large, less nimble partners and/or teams.
- Demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis, research, and presentation creation.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills with extreme attention to detail.
- Desire to work in a start-up environment, and an excitement of what lies ahead of us.
