Thriive - Technology Manager/Head

Thriive is an instant holistic wellness platform connecting Indian and global users to wellness experts & therapists across 160 alternative therapies. Since the digital launch in July, Thriive has shown a rapid growth in users and has also onboarded over 4000 verified therapists. From Mental health, meditation, yoga, to tarot and astrology thriive has seen a consistent spike in users. Thriive's search tool can even guide users to the right therapy for their specific emotional, mental, or physical concerns.

This advertised role is for the Technology / Engineering Manager

Your Responsibilities:-

- Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.

- Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

- Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.

- Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.

- Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.

- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

- Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.

- Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.

- Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.

- Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders

Required Skills:-

- You have significant experience in building consumer facing platforms end to end

- You understand security protocols needed for a healthcare wellness platform

- You are a full stack developer and can build clean foundations for a platform to scale

- You are hands on and can work without large team to code alongside you

- You have worked on big data tools and analytics before

- You are obsessed to get the details right but also understand urgency in a startup

- You have managed cross functional teams and groomed your own team

- You have high empathy to think from a consumer perspective

- You have strong communication skills & are able to explain yourself in a concise manner

- You have high accountability and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial setup with multiple deliverable in a fast paced environment
