ThreeBox Solution - Fractional Chief Financial Officer

About the Role:

Three Box Solution is hiring a Fractional CFO for our esteemed client, a leading investment fund focused on deep tech, biotech, longevity, and manufacturing innovations. The role requires a seasoned finance leader with expertise in fundraising, treasury management, cash flow optimization, and IFRS/GAAP compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience managing fund utilization and financial strategy in a manufacturing environment.

The Fractional CFO will work closely with the leadership team to drive financial planning, risk management, and strategic growth while ensuring adherence to global accounting standards. This position requires availability during US shift timings.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising & Capital Strategy:

- Lead fundraising initiatives, securing capital from investors, lenders, and financial institutions.

- Develop capital allocation strategies to optimize return on investment (ROI).

- Build relationships with private equity, venture capital firms, and banking institutions.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Oversee treasury functions, ensuring efficient cash flow planning and liquidity management.

- Develop cash forecasting models to optimize working capital and prevent cash shortages.

- Manage currency exposure and hedging strategies as needed.

Financial Planning & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and accrual accounting principles.

- Implement financial controls, budgeting, and forecasting models.

- Oversee fund utilization and allocation, ensuring adherence to financial policies.

- Supervise financial reporting and CAT system implementation.

Manufacturing & Operational Finance:

- Develop costing models and financial KPIs for manufacturing processes.

- Optimize supply chain financing and cost control measures.

- Align financial strategies with manufacturing operations and capital expenditures (CAPEX).

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

- Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- CPA, CFA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred.

Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in financial leadership, treasury, and fundraising.

- Hands-on experience with fundraising, investor relations, and financial structuring.

- Strong expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and accrual accounting.

- Understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and capital expenditures.

- Proficiency in CAT systems and financial modeling.

- Willingness to work in US shift timings.
