Designation: Digital Architect
Role Summary:
The role requires individuals to be responsible for design, development, testing and support phase in relevant technology to meet the business needs of the client. For this purpose, desired candidate should participate in technical functions including day-to-day project activities including but not limited to working closely with development, QA, product management, operations and end users of the applications.
- The candidate must be able to derive technical requirements of the solution to be delivered from functional requirements and should be able to design technical solution such that it meets the requirements during both implementation and execution phase. The candidate must have working understanding of programming languages, web technologies and databases.
- The candidate should also identify and participate in process improvement initiatives for support related functions and other SDLC processes.
- The role would need individuals to identify, prioritize and recommend new technologies in the areas of digital strategy and transformation which can be used by the existing and prospective clients. This also entails identifying area to differentiate, looking at technology disruptions, extensive human centric research, challenge traditional thinking and coming up with game changing concepts. Job Description:
- Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.
- The candidate will be responsible for Technical analysis, designing, reviews, testing an implementation of developments, ranging from small enhancements to large projects
- Study the existing systems and groups of the client to identify the exact needs and requirements
- Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.
- Support business implementations by sharing best practice development skills.
- Assist initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Based on the needs that are evolving for the Digital Business, Identify the key technology Needs to power the capability roadmap
- Should work as a liaison between Consulting, Development, Support and Cloud Services to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements
- Responsible for incident resolution for specific set of customers within the specified POD / Product
- Adheres to Service Level Agreement and evaluates Incidents to determine if they are likely to reoccur.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and deployment of permanent fixes/patches
- Adheres to priority based management based upon business impact and urgency
Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Masters in Computer Applications or any other equivalent technical field
Required Skill s:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders with emphasis on follow through and reporting
- Should be proficient in ORACLE PL/SQL, SQL, Shell Scripting(Unix), Java, C++, .NET
- Excellent organization and technical documentation skills
- Analytical and Problem solving skills along with self-motivation to excel
Good-to-haves:
- Experience of successfully engaging groups of stakeholders.
- Exposure to best in class supply chain software tool - e.g. JDA, SAP
- Exposure to ITIL frameworks
- Experience or exposure to IT governance
