Designation: Design Thinking Consultant

Role Summary: -

The role requires individuals to be a creative thinker and doer to cultivate innovative ways within the organization to handle complex business challenges balancing design, technology and business priorities. The candidate must be able to drive a meaningful impact across the organization through a different way of working which is human-centered, iterative and customer focused. The candidate must be able to communicate new ideas and provide a strategic viewpoint to ensure that recommendations not only solve customer business problems but also create sustainable business value. Beyond individual projects, you will also participate in networking activities and develop new strategy tools and techniques in areas of specialist expertise.

Job Description:

- Partner with senior leadership team to identify design thinking/innovation opportunities across various business units for the prospective clients

- Be creative and curious to learn and explore while managing stakeholder expectations

- Planning Design Thinking workshops and activities for both internal and external Clients, including development of workshop context / agendas, etc.

- Identifying, assigning, and conducting pre-workshop research, analysis, and synthesis

- Conducting Design Thinking workshops using the 5-step process (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test)

- Coordinating and managing post-workshop artifact and prototype production with diverse internal and external production teams

- Coordinating iterative prototype review / testing, including vetting with internal and external teams and Clients

- Delivery and presentation of workshop results and prototypes to clients

- Provide Design Thinking support to the organization and support its adoption across the enterprise

- Train and mentor clients and other team members on design Thinking principles and techniques

Educational Qualifications:

- Strong educational background from reputed engineering and management schools; MBA in Strategy is preferred

Required Skills:

- 2-4 Years of work experience of applying Design Thinking concepts to solve business problems

- Must have handled Design Thinking workshops, sessions, demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders with emphasis on follow through and reporting

- Analytical and Problem solving skills along with self-motivation to excel

- Meticulous planning skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

- Strong working experience in Microsoft tools (Excel, Power point etc.) including good presentation skills

- Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.

- Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritisation and a pragmatic approach.
