Dimensions:

a. Financial:

- The role will not have direct budget responsibility but will need to be financially aware of their responsibilities and remain budget conscious and compliant, seeking simplifications and opportunities to increase capacity. It will also support on preparing annual budget plans and yearly expenditure.

b. Market/Role Complexity These roles will be focused at a Regional level. Client's data environment spans all geographies and functions including touch points with business partners and Joint Ventures. This role has Global responsibility spanning a number of Global Applications, within the context of allocated data domain of consumer, customer, vendor, product, supply, finance and people .

- The role will interface with governance directors, process owners, business stakeholders and service delivery teams (both internal and external). These relationships will encompass people based in a variety of geographies, multiple cultures, languages and time zones

c. Leadership Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder engagement of all function executives and market stakeholders; influencing as necessary.

- Engagement across all processes, markets and vendors. External stakeholder engagement as appropriate.

- The role requires profound data management skills and deep technical skills in data & information management, maintenance principles and capabilities.

- Strong people management skills are required to motivate and control a team across multiple geographies.

- The ability to lead and communicate/ influence effectively across many different cultures including external company cultures and time zones

Purpose of Role: The purpose of this role is to create a robust and sustainable data environment for allocated data domains, through creating an effective strategy and delivery capability.

Requirements:

Top Accountabilities:

- Drives a master data driven culture in the region / function, promoting the global master data strategy, policies, full harmonisation with the target of merging the distinct regional business process aspects into a shared global MD template

- Identify the data owners in the region to support cleansing and validation

- Is accountable for master data quality remediation for the region

- Is accountable for transactional data cleansing for the region

- Drive progress on data cleansing with business resources and embed governance into BAU meeting structures.

- Identify the data requestors and data owners

- Work with data owners to coordinate and manage regional data validation and signoffs for both master and transactional data.

- End user role mapping for data requestors, data owners and data approvers for future state MDG master data creation and maintenance

- Lead execution of mitigating actions to ensure readiness and adoption for go live.

- Identify local change implications (process/system/data) for MDG & lead execution of mitigating actions to ensure readiness and adoption for go live.

- Manages MDG hypercare escalations for the Region after go-liveAccountable for the implementation and usage of the standard Master Data policies, processes and master data quality in the region / function.

- Act as local change agents for SAP MDG tooling and process optimisation

- Create and sustain effective relationships to deliver domain and functional priorities

Qualifications and Experience Required

- Graduate, preferably with minimum of 10 years IS/Data experience either within consumer goods company (or equivalent in consultancy).

- Deep understanding of data management disciplines and their business benefits (e.g. DAMA)

- Experience of major change projects, preferably with project management experience

- Able to provide strong, visible leadership for data governance to geographically diverse virtual teams

- Able to build relationships with senior business management to advance the global data agenda - need strong communication and influencing skills

- Structured attitude to change - able to assess impact across processes and business units

- Knowledgeable about the Alco-bev processes and how they have been implemented in market.
