ROLE PURPOSE :
Provide leadership to the site to ensure smooth operations & meet market expectations, so that the site achieves productivity, quality, reliability, safety, and training objectives in line with the organisations immediate, short and long-term goals. Align to the values, principles & policies of the company and ensure compliance to statutory & regulatory requirements. Shall remain as the face of the organisation for all stakeholders both internal and external.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Key Role Area Detailed Activities required to perform the Role Operations
- Ensure safe operating procedures and practices are in place and followed.
- Ensure that mechanical integrity is maintained to allow safe and efficient operations.
- Ensure the plant produces at volumes to meet demand requirements set forth in Annual plan.
Technical :
- Facilitate reliability improvement process to maximize unit capacity and minimize operating costs.
- Ensure that maintenance work is completed in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner.
- Oversee capital deployment to: provide ROI, increase asset value, maintain infrastructure and meet business needs.
Environmental :
- Ensure training is conducted, procedures are followed and records kept as required.
- Ensure plant compliance with external regulations and standards and maintains it.
Safety :
- Facilitate integration of TCL directives and standards.
- Ensure policies and procedures are implemented to promote safety beliefs and advance safety as a core value.
- Ensure that adequate initiatives are in place to deal properly with emergencies.
- Support Loss Control policy, AIMS, ISO 9000 and OHSAS 18001 management systems and/or comparable management systems Services
- Ensure performance commitments to Business is met.
- Coordinate with Business Manager and integrates with Production managers.
- Ensure integrity of quality assurance program to satisfy customer and protect TCL from any liability.
- Ensure purchasing activities are conducted in an ethical manner that maximizes value to TCL.
Education Qualification : BE or B Tech pref. Chemical
