A planning & risk management head is responsible for the entire planning piece - sales planning, new store sales planning, promotional calendar, OTBs (budgets), analytics, pricing and markdown analysis inputs, margin management.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning process (E2E)
- Track KPIs and set benchmarks in performance. Align Processes to deliver based on these KPIs
- Regular Strategic Business Reviews - coordinate, develop content in conjunction with strategy and analysis
- Work closely with sales/ops, marketing team, strategy & team ensure healthy sales and bottom line
- Develop senior level relationships & facilitate executive networking
- Escalate issues, pre-empt sales and margin forecast and ensure timely interventions to ensure achievement of all KPIs
Job Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience of planning function for a retail/FMCG/QSR company
- Has a proven track record in using analytics as a tool to achieve KPIs
- Has experience in preparing Annual Operating Plans as well as Sales plans
- Holds very strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
- Has strong presentation skills, as well as the ability to front-end Business review discussions
- Understanding of Finance, operations and marketing.
- The ideal candidate is a leader who can work with multiple teams to deliver the results.
- Work daily in a fast-paced unstructured environment, in a rapidly growing industry.
