We're currently looking for an Accounting Manager that is hands on with proven experience in directing the organisations' accounting functions including cost, payables, and reporting. The Accounting Manager will contribute to the development and maintenance of financial reporting, planning and budgeting systems. She/he will oversee the preparation of periodic reporting and required legal filings, while ensuring that all corporate and required accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes the month end close process, including preparation of financial statements (P&L, B/S, Cash Flow & Sales), budgets, bank reconciliations & journal entries
- Cost accounting with focus on product cost evaluation
- Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with strong emphasis on debtor management and collection of receivables
- Continually evaluates new and existing systems to recommend enhancement to reporting
- Performs assigned account accruals and provisions.
- Efficient Cash flow, working capital, P&L management to ensure smooth & profitable operations
- Working with banks and other private non-banking funding institutions for bringing in needed funds as and when required. In addition developing & maintaining good relationships with the lending institutions officials
- Providing timely and accurate MIS of all financial reports for operations and providing key inputs to management on timely basis
- Ensuring statutory compliances and laws and systems/controls in the company
- Ensures and maintain better payment terms that will sustain payment schedules with key suppliers & providers
- Budget process with focus on deliverables and cost center performance
- Stimulate and appraise the financial to establish a structure that meets the requirements of the business.
- Regular team meetings to review the KPI- s
- Research advanced accounting issues, identify possible solutions
Preferred background:
- CA/ICWA/MBA or Business degree or recognised diploma in accounting practise with more than 8 Years of experience, which includes manufacturing companies
- Good communication skills, interpersonal relations to handle all levels
SALARY: 12-14 Lakhs plus incentives
