About The/Nudge:

- The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners.

- Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians, has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Our incubator, accelerator and grand challenges have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover and more.

- Set up with support from 90+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates and 15+ foundations including Gates, Mackenzie Scott, Vinod Khosla, Nandan Nilekani, Tata Trusts, Skoll, Meta, LinkedIn, HDFC, Mphasis, KPMG and L'Oreal, we are contributing towards a "poverty-free India, within our lifetime".

About the team: The alliances team at The/Nudge is responsible for driving meaningful strategic partnerships with central and state governments to scale livelihood opportunities for the poor.

What will you do?

- Learn our programs well to represent our work to various stakeholders in the government

- Own the overall strategy & goals for the Government Alliances team

- Identify, create and manage networks and relationships within the government to support identification and scaling of livelihood opportunities

- Develop targeted and compelling messaging tailored to each category of government stakeholders across different platforms (website, whatsapp etc)

- Balance short term results while enabling long term goals

- Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to drive results

- Build and manage a lean high-performance team

- Represent The/Nudge in ecosystem events, as needed

What are we looking for in this role?

- Hands-on, intrapreneurial leadership style, with a growth and learning mindset

- Natural comfort with a high-intensity, fast-paced environment

- Is intellectually curious, well read and willing to learn by doing

- Willingness to travel extensively within India

- Prior experience in working with government preferred

Who are we looking for?

- Master's in public policy/economics/public administration/international Relations (Preferred not mandatory)

- 15+ years of experience with significant part in external facing roles
