Associate Director - Media Planning


Key Responsibilities:

Media Planning & Strategy:

- Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive media plans that align with brand objectives, audience segmentation, and campaign goals.

- Plan across multiple digital channels including social, search, display, video, and mobile.

Campaign Management:

- Oversee the execution of digital media campaigns from briefing, execution, to post-campaign analysis.

- Collaborate with creative and performance marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand messaging and KPIs.

Budget Management:

- Allocate and manage media budgets effectively to maximize ROI across paid digital channels.

- Track, analyze, and report on media spend efficiency.

Brand & Campaign Innovation:

- Identify and implement new media trends and opportunities for brand engagement.

- Lead efforts to experiment with new formats, emerging platforms, and innovations in the digital space.

Analytics & Reporting:

- Analyze key metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc) and performance reports to optimize ongoing campaigns.

- Use data-driven insights to refine targeting strategies and improve future campaign outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with brand managers, creative teams, external media partners, and ad tech platforms to ensure seamless execution of digital strategies.

Competitive Analysis:

- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.

- Provide insights on competitive benchmarks and use them to influence media strategies.

Technology & Tool Proficiency:

- Leverage tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, programmatic platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk), and analytics dashboards for campaign planning and execution.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in digital media planning and strategy.

- Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing paid digital media campaigns across various channels.

- Strong understanding of digital media landscape, including emerging trends and technologies.

- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

Bonus Points:

- Experience with programmatic advertising platforms.

- Experience with social media advertising and influencer marketing.

- Knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs) and customer data platforms (CDPs).
