Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for an energetic Associate Product Manager who would be a part of the Product Team, working to bring together all our diverse teams (Technology, Content, Marketing, Operations), working towards effectively perfecting a complex Web and App-based learning product.
The Product Team is responsible for the following functions:
- Drives the product life-cycle of all digital products from identifying requirements, development, launching, growing adoption, user feedback collection and measuring learning impact.
- Owns and drives all digital products across functions (Technology, Content, Sales, Vendors etc.) through requirement backlog, use cases, product design and launch.
- Owns and manages the Analytics stack - Product Analytics (Amplitude), General Analytics (Google and FB Analytics) and Specific Analytics (Internal DB and Martech/CDP Platforms).
- Performs quality assurance controls on products and maintains a Health Dashboard on each Product.
- Conducts primary and secondary research to identify customer needs and market gaps
- Internalises User Personas and acts as the 'Voice of the Customer' when suggesting and implementing product enhancements
- Prioritises the implementation of new features and sets specific timelines
The Associate Product Manager would be specifically responsible for the following tasks (apart from playing an important role in the implementation of all team tasks as mentioned above):
- Gathering requirements from all teams and converting these into tangible product requirements.
- Wireframing UI/UX flows derived from approved product requirements - both Web and App.
- Enabling product discovery (and finetuning the experience) on Web and App to increase conversions, effectively impacting RoI in Paid/Organic Channels.
- Helping the Tech Team manage agile sprints - prioritising features and enhancements, gathering necessary feedback, etc.
- Keeping a track of product stacks owned by competitors/other Ed-Tech players and constantly updating the leadership team on the best practices in Digital Products in general, and specific to the Ed-Tech industry.
- Conducting market research, and interacting with existing/potential customers through surveys and other methods/tools to plan changes to existing features and for new features/enhancements.
- Track product metrics and ensure that pre-determined targets are met at regular intervals.
- Overseeing the Support Team (including ticketing) and keeping a track on Customer Queries/Issues to improve user experience and customer satisfaction ratings.
Key Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience (Previous experience partially managing a complex online product with a web and app presence essential; entrepreneurial experience a definite brownie point)
- A team player with strong work ethics who could adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
- Customer-oriented and Action-focused
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Strong ownership, and ability to work well under pressure
- Good Communication Skills - Spoken and Written
