The Future University - Head - Finance & Accounts

The Finance Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts and finance of the business, including financial planning, risk management, reporting, and strategy. This position will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial strategy and ensuring the company's financial health aligns with its business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy and Planning.

- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business objectives and growth plans.

- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

- Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Regulatory Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax laws, and Ensure them with accounting/financial reporting standards, legal requirements, and company policies.

- Risk Management: Identify, Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate financial exposure and protect company assets.

- Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and financial processes.

- Capital Management: Manage the company's capital structure and funding strategies.

- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and investment strategies.

- Negotiate and manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.

- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop the finance/accounts team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring professional development. Provide mentorship and guidance to the staff, ensuring the team's alignment with the company's objectives.

- Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives and projects.

- Maintain effective corporate governance practices and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree preferred.

- Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable.

- Proven experience in a senior financial management role within a private limited company.

- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management.

- Demonstrated success in financial strategy, planning, and execution.

- Experience in managing complex financial operations and leading finance teams.
