Responsibilities We seek detailed, committed, and proactive individuals with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to support our financial advisory services. - The candidate will serve as a key member of a small unified team of professionals based in New York and Bangalore. - The candidate will work with Partners in New York for certain consulting assignments. This will require the use of SQL / SAS / other software to extract and analyse data sets and generate insights from customer, employees, usage, and any other available data. - The candidate will work with Partners in New York and Bangalore in analyzing the Technology Software and Services industry. Such analysis includes creating research materials on individual companies and the broader industry. - The candidate will also take ownership of maintaining industry metrics such company financials and market data. - The candidate will have to take a pro-active role in creating, editing, and monitoring the research publications of the firm. Required Qualifications: - MSc / MA (Economics) / B.E. / B.Tech. / equivalent technical degree from a premier institute. - 1-3 years of experience in working with technology and software services firms. Hands-on experience of working with analytics software such as SQL, SAS, R, etc. - Strong data analytics capability including ability to work with large data sets. - Exceptional academic and professional track record. Organized, thorough, and detail oriented. - Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skill set. - Strong communication and presentation skills.
