- Manage communication with the clients and ensure the team and client are working in a conducive and collaborative environment
- Manage Testing practice on Projects Delivery, Growth, Building Specializations, Expertise, TCOE
- Develop Best Practices, alliances & partnerships
- Identification of core competency areas for the Testing Practice.
- To be specialized in Management, Project Management, Performance & Functional Testing, Test Automation, QA, Environment Building, Training & Documentation.
- Take complete responsibility for successful delivery of projects on parameters of schedule, quality and Customer satisfaction
- Ensure Optimum efficiency in Resource Mentoring, Conduct trainings for QA Team
- Preferable to have ISTQB, PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt certification professionals.
- Should Lead testing on multiple projects, and manage up to 5 QA Engineers
- Responsible for Test data migration, and Test data Management
- Managed and reviewed Performance test phases
- Coordinated end to end testing with clients and Client business teams
- Responsible for test planning for Agile / Scrum and TDD
- Resource management.
- Training and capability development
- Staffing coordination across locations based on the demand and capability
- Supply and demand management of skills against demand
- Relocation and cross training program coordination
- Manage the full life cycle delivery of the project
- Resource management – time tracking, task tracking
- Risk management
- Tracking and monitoring project status and updating the same to senior management
- Continuous communication with project stake holders in understanding the key project scope, goals and deliverables
- Maintaining project customer satisfaction index at optimum
- Daily interaction with customer project manager to share project status and highlight risks and identify suitable mitigation/contingency steps
- Test management – test strategy, test planning, and test approach to adhere to 3rd party vendors to match the time lines
- Defect management – design the defect life cycle, priority/severity definition, tracking defect to closure
- Maintaining zero critical/Major defects during entire testing life cycle for seamless test phase schedules.
- Created test strategy and approach in Agile Test Environment
- Designed Functional testing types and methods
- Evaluated and refined defect tracking and test case management with customer to suite the agile environment
- Created metrics for meaningful presentation of testing progress Designed test automation and load testing approach
- Built and maintained test labs, managed test environments
- External Personal Accessibility, User Data Security, Password maintenance and Token Management
- Managed testing of concurrent projects through multiple simultaneous releases
- Coordinated testing with remote development, project management, and test teams
- Selected, evaluated, and maintained test management, test automation, and defect tracking systems – Rational ClearQuest, Rational ReqPro, and Rational Quality Manager
- Identified, designed and managed Performance test team.
