Test Manager - Loan Management System Implementation

Whom are we looking for?

This project offers an opportunity to join a combined team from a global strategy consulting firm and a leading bank in the Philippines.

The engagement is part of a large retail banking technology transformation program which includes the implementation of a new core banking solution. To support the project team, there is a need for an experienced Test Manager with proven experience in test management for large scale lending core banking system implementations covering Secured and Unsecured lending products across Retail and Commercial Banking.

Role Scope:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy and plan for the Transact Loan Management System implementation, including timelines, resources, and methodologies.

- Oversee the creation of detailed test cases and scenarios that cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the loan management system

- Lead execution of planned test cases, ensuring that all test results are correctly recorded against the system

- Prepare & present testing reports, incl test results, defect analysis

- Oversee identification, documentation, and resolution of defects and issues discovered during testing.

- Collaborate with the SI vendor for testing requirements, issue resolution, and understanding system specifications

- Regularly update stakeholders, including project managers, IT teams, and business units, on testing progress, risks, and outcomes

Requirements:

- Experience with testing automation and SDLC tools (e.g. Karate, HP ALM, JIRA etc.)

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies

- Experience in performance and security testing

This will be an initial 6 month phase of work with options for further extensions.

The project is run in English and so there is no requirement for local language skills. The client is open to individuals already located in Manilla or those keen to re-locate for this engagement. Visa solutions and sponsorship is available.
