Territory Manager - Alternate Channel - UP & North East
Job Purpose :
- Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Alternate Channel Territory Manager to join the company's sales team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the alternate sales channels in the Uttar Pradesh (UP) and North East regions.
- This role requires a strong understanding of the market dynamics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key channel partners.
- The Alternate Channel Territory Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive business growth through alternate sales channels in the UP and North East regions.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand the company's presence and increase market penetration.
- Build strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their sales potential.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to align strategies and ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the budgeting and planning process.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics to proactively identify business development opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all business activities.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree would be an advantage.
- Candidates from Life Insurance Banca Sales background having in-depth knowledge of Insurance products
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales, business development, or channel management, preferably in the UP and North East regions.
- Strong understanding of the alternate sales channels, distribution networks, and market dynamics in the specified regions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with channel partners and key stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret sales data to make informed business decisions.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory as required.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
