Templeton - Equity/Fixed Income Research

Job Title: BE Manager reporting to Head Business Excellence.

Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities

- The candidate will work with Portfolio Managers / Research Analysts within our global firm. The candidate will be responsible for equity / fixed income research, portfolio manager’s support, statistical studies on the economy, market, industry and individual firms.

- The candidate researches and analyzes investment securities and prepares and presents investment memorandums to facilitate portfolio managers’ stock selection process. In doing so he / she reviews business and trade publications, annual reports, and financial filings and prepares various financial models for portfolio selection and monitoring.

- The candidate is also required to work on projects around identifying improvement opportunities, designing and implementing solutions. While the nature of such initiatives could fall within any global business unit of the firm, the primary focus of this individual would be around improvement of investment management processes.

Requirements

- CA/MBA from a reputed business school. CFA Charter Holder preferred.

- Minimum 8 years of professional work experience of which at least 3 years in equity/fixed income research (sell side / buy side). .

- The candidate should possess a sound understanding of investment management processes.

- Candidates must also possess excellent problem solving skills, relationship building skills, entrepreneurial ability and strong communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple assignments at any point of time
