About Client Insights
The purpose of the Client Insights (CI) team is to create a competitive advantage for FTI with actionable insights to better connect and engage with financial advisors.
The team of ‘Trusted Advisers’ work in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Technology teams to inform and guide strategies with data-driven insights that increases efficiencies, expands market share and deepens relationships with customers. The CI team is focused on building a ‘Center of Excellence’ in reporting, measurement, optimization, 3600 view of the customer and marketing analytics. The CI team is also focused on building scale to support FTI business globally.
About the Role
The Marketing Analyst will provide reporting, analysis and insights to support and grow FTI International business. The Marketing Analyst will collaborate with multiple stakeholders from Sales, Marketing and Technology teams to connect actionable insights to business strategy. The Marketing Analyst, will build a ‘Trusted Adviser’ role with line of business with deep subject matter expertise in Marketing Analysis and in collaboration with business
Insights & Analytics
- Support, inform and guide line of business with ad-hoc reporting and analysis, customer and market insights to help inform Marketing and Sales strategies.
- Collect, report and analyze key performance metrics across Marketing and Sales promotional programs and communication delivery channels
- Develop target audiences for promotional activities and/or opportunity and lead pipeline management.
- Identify and analyze key performance metrics and trends.
- Analyze data from multiple sources, across channel, including social, mobile, call center, email and web to provide a more holistic view of the customer, identify quality leads and actionable insights.
- Combine in-depth business knowledge, insights, and techniques such as data visualization, cross-tabs, statistical tests, and data mining techniques to identify customer or prospect needs, behavioral trends, product preferences, and up-selling, cross-selling, and retention opportunities
- Support senior team members in various research projects that include: profiling, segmentation, lifetime value, attrition/retention, acquisition, and lead generation
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, based on market trends, investor behavior, competitors and local dynamics to inform and guide Marketing and Sales tactics, including campaign and key messages.
Reporting, Planning and Team collaboration
- Solid understanding of all active data sets, tables, libraries, data locations and update frequencies
- Extract data from appropriate sources in a complex warehousing environment. Require in-depth knowledge of data elements.
- Perform complex data processing (e.g. merging, sorting, data transformations) using SAS, Access, or other ETL tools on PC
- Serve as subject matter expert on marketing measurement, campaign management and research responsibilities. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Develop and provide routine and non-routine reports of complex scope using multiple reporting systems.
- Analyze data and develop creative solutions. Ability to provide ongoing updates via written and verbal communications
- Establish, implement and maintain best practices.
- Develop an open, collaborative approach to working with other analysts within the Client Insights team, with particular emphasis on collaborating with, and supporting team outside of Client Insights
