Telyport is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Associate Director of Sales to lead our sales department. This is a leadership position with ESOPS and has huge potential for growth.
We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts.
Your duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
3-5 yrs of on-ground experience leading teams in hyper-growth environment preferably with background in Tech-Enabled Marketplaces, Consulting, Logistics (Preferred)
Responsibilities :
- Motivate and energize the staff to make proactive decisions in all their communications with clients
- Create and advertise weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals and keep C-level executives apprised of the progress
- Prepare sales reports and sign off on their accuracy before submitting them
- Assess the competitive landscape and institute changes to the sales program in response to competitors' changes
- Establish a referral network with local businesses and find ways to maximize value from those connections
- Implement a sales training and orientation program to educate new hires as our company grows
Qualifications :
- Degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of sales & marketing techniques and best practices.
- Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
