Global Senior Director of Automation & Orchestration (ServiceNow)

Job Description

We are looking for a strong technical leader focusing on the architecture and automation of IT-related services to join our global IT digital transformation team. The Senior Director of Automation is responsible for designing, testing, and implementing technologies to automate IT services to support self-service levering the ServiceNow platform and ancillary infrastructure automation solutions. This position will provide leadership and vision to build an architecture and automation function to transform and digitize how IT services are delivered.

Educational Qualifications and Other Requirements

A degree holder in business administration, computer science, or equivalent experience.

- 10+ years in information technology managing diverse teams

- Demonstrated success leading IT service management modernization and transformation for a technology company of comparable size with minimal disruption.

- Experience with ITSM solutions and ability to align standardized processes and services across each area of service management

- Solid understanding of service management as it pertains to IT services

- Experience with Quebec or higher release of ServiceNow

- Experience working with Agile Project Teams

- 15 years of experience with System Engineering and/or Information Technology preferred in a global multi-location environment

- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required

- Proven experience in leading the deployment of Enterprise Software (ITIL, Lean Enterprise, and Agile) solutions

- Five or more years of ServiceNow technical experience designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow functionality for ITSM, ITBM, GRC, IT Ops Mgt.

- Strong background working with diverse groups of people to deliver complete solutions

- Proven experience as a manager/leader of people

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills

- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsor/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process/technical issues

- Experience in Integrations between ServiceNow and other tools/systems as well as an ability to lead design sessions to architect such integrations

- Good analytical skills, detail-oriented, ability to effectively listen to and resolve customer issues and understands end to end business processes, and work in a global environment

- Prior ServiceNow technical knowledge and strong platform architecture understanding

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Comfortable conversing at every level of the business

- Fluent English is a requirement

- Ability to engage cross-functional teams globally

Useful Certifications

- IT Infrastructure Library Managing Professional (ITIL v4)

- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher

- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist

- ServiceNow Application Developer

- ServiceNow System Administrator
