Role description :

She/He will be part of NEPC practice team in M&T SBU leading Telecom Test Solutions /PoCs, Competency and pre-sales solution for all portfolios (Wireless, Wireline, Optical, Core Networks and E/NMS)

Responsibilities Include :

- Carry Pre-sales OB Target for Telecom Testing Portfolio and establish relationship with customers in Telecom Testing Domain and nurtures the technical rapport

- Responsible for Test design, implementation, and support of all related network technologies

- Advice on the future direction and growth of the network. Identifying, testing, developing and implementation of new technologies in all portfolios Wireless, Wireline, Optical, Core Networks and E/NMS

- Develop Reference Test solutions/PoCs in Testing areas and provide technical direction and support to test team

- Pre-sales solution activities like RFP/RFI response, Customer demos and support Delivery in Test Architect activities

Qualifications :

Professional Skills :

- Deep understanding in Wireless 3GPP Technologies.

- Routing and Switching Protocol experience (enterprise): L2 - Ethernet, xSTP, LACP, QoS, L3 - BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MP-BGP, I BGP etc. NMS - TMF / 3GPP / NGMN Standards Knowledge

- Experience with technical product evaluation, new product certification, strong written skills for architecture documentation, has performed significant design work for data center and enterprise networks.

- Understanding and experience in NVF / OpenStack/Virtualization/SDN technologies

- Exposure to virtualization domain - familiar with hypervisors like VMware, KVM. Familiar with SDN controllers, OpenVswitch, OF Protocols like OpenFlow-1.2, 1.3 Specifications

- Experience in testing NFVI, VIM, VNFM and orchestration layers for various Network services for DATACOM, wireless technologies. Contributions/Exposure to specifications of Opensource forums like ONUS, OPNFV, OpenStack

- Experience on configuring Cisco /Juniper/Brocade/Ericsson family of network devices

- Should be up to date with the latest in testing, test automation, and Devops

- Knowledge of IP Network-Security, deep knowledge of firewalls, Intrusion Detection (IDS), vulnerability and penetration testing and threat mitigation.

- Cisco Certifications in Data and Voice Domains - CCNA, CCNP or CCIE desirable

Academic Qualifications :

B.E/B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication with 15+ years experience as a Senior Engineer/Architect
